Easter Lockdown..
With the UK in Lockdown, citizens are getting more and more anxious about the current situation regarding the pandemic affecting many around the globe. Particularly as our Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in intensive care with the virus it has caused greater concern for the nation. As I listen to my first release "Better Days" it gives me hope that they are just around the corner. It's important to focus and take heed of the #stayhome advice and protect yourself, others and the NHS so that it can cope with a possible influx of hospital admissions.
Band rehearsals are temporarily suspended so I'm missing the in-Laws terribly! Thankfully earlier this year we filmed a live dress rehearsal for an unreleased original ballad "Falling" with the award winning barbershop quartet "The Firebirds" at The Joint in King's Cross, London. We were scheduled to play at the Khoi Khoi Bar in Letchworth, Herts on Sunday but obviously this is no longer possible but I'm excited to share instead the world premiere of this song/video this coming Easter Sunday 12th April at 2pm on Facebook so stay tuned.
I'm using this time to self reflect and tune in to my spiritual side which has led me to more musical inspiration and creativity with a view of coming back stronger than ever before!
I want to take this opportunity to thank the NHS and all the frontliners during these trying times and to wish everyone safety and good health. The UK is set for a sunny Easter weekend but please do #stayhome but make sure to keep in touch with your loved ones on the phone and/or video calling.
Stay safe guys, hasta luego..
